ATSi has the facility for the inspection of tube, plate and weld with Eddy Current Array Technology (ECA).
Eddy Current Array Technology can be used for the inspection of ferromagnetic and non- ferromagnetic plates and welds, as a part of evaluation of subsequent performance of the product before or after exposure to various service conditions. This can be used in several industrial applications such as petrochemical, refining, power and aerospace inspection requirements.
Most conventional eddy current flaw detection techniques can be reproduced with ECA inspection. The remarkable advantage of ECA technology allows improved inspection capabilities and significant time savings.
While considering heat exchanger tube inspection with Array technology, apart from impedance plane differential and absolute, C scan representation also will be collected and it will be easier to the evaluation of the discontinuities.
I-Flex probes can be used for the inspection of both ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic metals for surface and subsurface flaws. Padded probes are recommended for the detection of surface cracks on non-ferromagnetic plate welds where as in ferromagnetic plate welds Sharck probes are recommended.
